Whale Tail 20th June 2011

Posted on 20. Jun, 2011 by admin in Latest News

In the late 70’s only 1 or 2 humpback whales where sighted off Moreton Island. Today in excess of 14,000 whales will be sighted.
Last Saturday marked the official start for Brisbane Whalewatching as Eye-spy departed the Redcliffe Jetty cruising through the beautiful marine park we sighted an abundance of marine life, including dolphins and turtles.

We were greeted by 9 young whales playfully tail slapping and mugging the boat coming underneath us from side to side, delighting everyone onboard, what a buzz it was to start the season this way.
